We've written lots of articles with various publishers and content creators and want to share them with you. The aim of our articles is to help you shift your perspective and change your beliefs about yourself as a leader or business owner.

Our Start-Up Story
Lionesses of Africa spoke to Nazlee Mayhew, Founder of Global Mindset Solutions about her professional coaching journey and her passion for empowering others to fulfill their potential through skills development.
Nazlee started her business in 2019, using her thirty years of professional experience as a Personal Assistant/Office Manager and coaching experiences. Her son is her 'why'. She wanted to give him an even better life than she had and provide him with financial security to support him now and in the future. She also wanted to show him that it is possible to achieve your goals even if the world doesn't believe in you or support you.
Unlock Your Potential As A Leader
Malta CEO speaks to Nazlee Mayhew about how life coaching can help you reach your full potential as a leader.
Nazlee says, "Coaching is designed to help people shift their perspective, overcome limiting beliefs and change habits that have kept them stuck and feeling unfulfilled. A coach will also help a person develop their leadership skills, boost their self-confidence and instil self-discipline. As they begin to increase their self-awareness, they will become more in tune with their thoughts and feelings. It will motivate them to become a better leader, which in turn, increases engagement, morale, productivity and profits.

You Cannot Pour From An Empty Cup
Malta CEO speaks to Nazlee Mayhew, Founder of Global Mindset Solutions about creating healthy boundaries.
The reality is that women are the main carers for their children, home life and sometimes elderly parents. This is often coupled with a demanding career where women feel unable to switch off once they leave the office. They worry about completing several projects at the same time, meeting deadlines due to underperforming colleagues or having limited resources which increases sickness rates. They never know how to say ‘no’ to extra tasks assigned by their manager, nor do they feel able to speak up for gender equality rights due to their organisation’s strict policies.
Unlock Your Potential As An African Entrepreneur
Africa is rapidly changing before our eyes! It's surreal to watch this shift, which is exciting, exhilarating and empowering. Now more than ever, African women can turn their passion into profit, become financially independent and create more income and impact their business, children, loved ones and communities. However, business is not for the faint hearted. There are so many different moving parts and it’s only as we go on this journey that we learn to identify and, in time, master them. As a solopreneur, you will wear a lot of different hats – that is, until you can outsource your work or hire team members.

Transform your financial future & Rewrite Your Money Story
Creating an abundance mindset will help you make more money than you ever imagined. It’s true that in the online space, there are many people who say that they can help you make an extra €10K this year. They may not be wrong; however, the key to making more money lies in your perspective around earning that type of money. Mindset coaching is a non-tangible entity, which means that it looks at your internal beliefs, mental blocks and behaviours around money. Once people gain clarity about what is stopping them from earning more money, they begin to rewrite their money story. This transformation enables them to stop doubting themselves or fearing rejection by others.
From Barriers to Belonging - How To Build Inclusive Workplaces
"Diversity is being invited to the party, inclusion is being asked to dance,” Verna Myers, a leading diversity and inclusion expert. Employing more women in an organisation doesn’t necessarily mean that they will be assigned to higher positions. It goes deeper than that as women tend to face barriers such as gender bias, unequal growth opportunities, pay disparity, lack of representation and work-life balance challenges. Stereotyping is also a barrier that holds women back in the tech industry. From a young age, girls are not encouraged to pursue an interest in STEM. They are often pushed to consider careers such as nursing, social work or teaching.

How to Overcome Imposter Syndrome and Shift from Stuck to Successful
Many female leaders, more than men, suffer from a condition called imposter syndrome. This is a deep-seated subconscious belief, but not an official diagnosis, that they don’t deserve to be successful in life or that they are not as intelligent as they think they are. At some point in our lives, data shows that at least 70 percent of us will experience imposter syndrome – that nagging feeling that ‘we are not good enough' despite clear evidence to the contrary according to Psychology Today.
